I definitely preferred my 02 Sport interior. Black Seats/Carpet/Dash and Tan Ceiling. I miss feeling like I'm sitting inside a glass of Guinness Draught.

The thing that gets me on the new dashes is where the heck do you put the trailer brake controller...Why do you buy a 1 ton truck anyway????

I really like the interior of both my 07 and 03, yes I like the 03s better with the dash layout, cloth seats, and the BLACK!!! However I do like the new dash and doors; seats are fine for me, but Id agree, the seats are kinda a pain to keep clean-especially with all the soot from the stacks

Really, I dont get whats so great with Fords interior, to me its more basic than Dodges...there isnt a thing about Fords interior (or the entire truck for that matter) that I would rather have than in my Dodges. The thing with the Dodges (especially the 03) is that while Im driving, it feels almost like the interior was custom fitted to me, like race cars are fitted to the driver, if you get what Im saying. Everything falls perfect where I need it. And I can set the cruise and stretch my legs out if they get tired...ever tried that in a Ford?? And Im 6' 3"...Ford has the most uncomfortable interior in any pickup IMO

I have been test driving the 07's and i find that my 03 is the most practical interior. The seats in my truck seem to be more comfortable.

I could take either one of the dashs from those years, I like them both, but the seats in my 04 were definately more comfortable. The cloth on them was more of a furry cloth then a ruff cloth like the 06. I have to say though that out of all the trucks and cars I have ever driven, the bucket seats in my 92 are the most comfortable and If I could have transplanted the 06 drivetrain and all to the 92, I would have driven just that as a DD until it blew up.

I have to agree with 92'1stgen. I have had mercedes that weren't anywhere as comfortable as my 1st gens. Why doesn't dodge do some polls of people who really uses these things before they stick us with crap?

I was in the market for a new truck in 06 but because of the colors they offer and the seats I stuck with my 01.

The light colored interiors are a total disaster for anyone who uses there truck for work that involves dirt, grease or who drinks coffee in there truck for that matter.

My 01 and the earlier 3rd gens have the nicest all around interiors as far as I am concerned.

I was going to say that the 06 and 07 interiors remind me of the toyotas but you can even get them in black!!!


Its a shame but I guess thats what they think sells.
