Pics of my new Beater truck
Brought the Green Machine home today. Of course it had to rain on the way home so the truck got all dirty but I still wanted to post a couple pics. I'll get bigger shots of it once it's cleaned up. I already installed PowerWagon rims w/ BFG MT 35" tires on them. Those things make for a rough and loud ride. I'll probably run them out since they are at half tread but I'll buy different tires next time. This thing runs great and the trans shifts perfectly. It should since the truck only has 25500 miles on it. I'm very happy and it is EXACTLY what I wanted once I started looking. It still has the full Mastercare warranty from Dodge until 03/11 or 70,000 miles....

I was thinking about getting a big decal for the silver bottom section that looks like a Croc's belly. I have a guy that can do that for me.....

Well, since I was so dead set on getting a truck with a warranty I really don't plan on doing much to it other than a better intake system and exhaust. I'm putting my BHAF on it today along with my Rokktech crank sensor. I got a great deal on a Van Aaken C3.2 Duration box so it's on the way but may not go on the truck for a while. (Who am I kidding?!?!?!)
I'm looking hard for a later model 325/600 turbo elbow so I can get a full 4" exhaust for it instead of using the stock elbow that goes down to 3.5" at the outlet. I also have my eyes open for a later model 3rd gen turbo at a good price as an upgrade to the stock 04 version.
That's really it. I don't feel like shelling thousands of $$$ out again for a trans so I'm gonna take it easy on this one.
I just wish I had kept some of the parts I sold off over the past couple years. I would be set.......

Looks like a gem, good to see your back in the saddle again . I almost bought a 03 dually that was that Timberline Green, very brilliant color in the sun.
