Pics of My MAAP Tube Steps
O.K. - so I finally got around to installing my MAAP stainless steel oval tube steps. ;D
Got 'em from JC Whitney for $329 HERE
And, down below I've attached a JPEG of what they look like on the truck. I ordered a set for the Ram 1500 series as the MAAP tech advisor said they'd fit. He was right - bolted right in to existing holes.
Best to y'all
Bill

I have been looking at those for about a week. I think Cabela's carry the same step. I am going to get a white truck and I am not sure if I want the SS or the black. Yours look great. Are you happy with the construction? My truck will be the QC which means they will be longer. I do not want a lot of flex.

They're tight, RLS. The underlying supports are heavy and solid. No flex at all with my 220 lbs on 'em.

My only complaint is the installation instructions sucked. The parts placement was not identified and it took me an hour to do the first one as a result. But, after that, the second one only took 15 minutes to install.

Best to y'all
Bill

Re:Pics of My MAAP Tube Steps
You say you ordered one for the 1500 series, but I can't see a 2002 up on there. ??? I will be purchasing these as soon as I can find them on that site. I'm assuming that wasn't a 2001 1500 you bought. How long did it take you to get them after you ordered them? That looks great by the way! 8)

RLS...Utah is great, depending on your religious views. The country is great, the people I could do without :...kinda like California
I'll check Cabela's.

Got the QC version, same board. My instructions looked like the were printed off a 10 year old injet that was very low on ink. I did better sticking the brackets up and moving/turning them around until I got it figured out. Should have been a one beer job but took me two.

O.K. - all you dogs pissin' on The Great State of Utah listen up!
We're normal I tell ya! Mormons don't even exist - it's all a creation of the Liberal media. Yeah, that's the ticket. Heck, Utah is the PARTY state! Wooooo Hooooo - loads of fun here for all.
(Fine, it's obvious you ain't buying it.)
Two of my favorite Utah slogans:
"Eat, drink, and be merry - for tomorrow you may be in Utah."
"Utah - Gateway to Nevada!"
Best to y'all
