I have not, both we did on rams I believe were autos. I dont see how it would be a problem as it swings out of the way.

I have an 06 Ram with the 6 speed, have the ram-mount and I love it. You can position the laptop just about anywhere to your right that you want too, the way the arms are made. I place mine just to the right of the forward right end of the arm rest/middle seat so that I can open the lid on the arm rest. Not sure about where your flip out DVD screen is but you should be able to work around it. The only issue I had with it was the install instructions. When I got mine it said to assemble the unit and then bolt it into the truck. The upright made it impossible to get the seat bolt back in. The resolution was to duct tape the carriage bolts to the bottom bracket, install the bottom bracket then bolt the upright onto it. The key step was the use of duct tape to hold the carriage bolts in. I had to call Ram-Mount and that was the solution that we came up with. Prior to that, I guess that no one had mounted one in a Ram.

I have a Panasonic Toughbook 19 and use it mostly as a GPS unit in the Ram. Be sure to get the screen support bracket so keep the screen from shaking.

I have the Ram mount that TruckWorkz posted above. I have an automatic and it fits perfect between the drivers and passengers seats and sets just in front of the center console area. I mount my Garmin GPS on the dash and run a USB cable down to the laptop. I use the Garmin nRoute software to display the route on the laptop. My wife has never complianed about mount being mounted to her seat base. As htgreen3 said the base install is a bit tricky but no big deal if you take your time.

Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of it in my truck. I do not know how your flip out dvd screen works but if it comes straight out of the radio area the Ram mount may not work.

No familiarity with this, http://www.jottodesk.net/chrysler-jo...-c400-3500.htm But perhpas another option. Delorme sells a Jotta universal mount for $150 that I noticed when contemplating the laptop/gps thing.
