Ok it's not a Dodge but this setup would work for just about any vehicle .. It's a Cobra WX75ST. It's got a little box that the antenna connect to and then that little piece below my switches is all that protrudes. I've got a firestick 4' tuneable antenna on it and of our Jeep group I have the longest range and the clearest radio. I've run nothing but this CB in any Jeep or truck aside from running my ham radio.
Just an idea.

I haven't taken a picture....and if I did, I'm sure I'd never figure out how to post the dang thing !
I will describe. I have a Cobra 29 (full size CB) that I used in the "Big Trucks" I used to drive. Dug it out and mounted the radio just below the heater/fan controls. I drilled two holes in the ledge that puts the bracket on about a 45 degree angle. It leaves enough room behind for the antenna and power cord. I havea 4 foot Firestick that is mounted using a stake pocket mount and ran the antenna along the frame and entered the cab thru the hole the hood release cable uses. I still have use of the three cup holers and it doesn't interfere with transfer case.
Only problem I have encountered with the antenna is that it is just over 8'6" high and it will touch some drive thru overhangs. It also hits the top of the tunnel going into the Daytona International Speedway... Scared the bejeezers out of me when it first started making noise. Though I was hitting the guard rail with my dually fenders!
Hope that helps.
Wow...just hit a hundred posts... Look out Wiggs
I think I figured out how to stick a photo in!

Jus Cruisin-Thats a great mounting spot except i have a 6spd and the first time I would grab 3rd, i'd smash the faceplate to pieces. I think im going to have to do something like RamWheelsBy4
