As of friday 5/5 the truck was somewhere between little rock and memphis. In memphis it gets pulled off the train and put on a truck to ME! They bumped the delivery date to the 18th though. I don't see why it takes 2 weeks to travel 3 hours...

I am trying to get my salesman to foot the bill for a Line-X bedliner since they dropped the ball on my order for 2 months. We'll see how that turns out. That isn't too much to ask I don't think.

that would be nice, but it sounds like your dealer isn't the type that cares about customer service.

for those looking to order 06's, i believe my dealer told me the cut-off date is may 15th. i found the truck with that exact options i was looking for, so i didn't have to order. having a dealer with 193 2500's in stock helps the selection process!

Finially

ITS HERE!!!! Man this thing is sweet!! Tons of power and very mildly mannered. The dealer screwed up the fold flat storage so we'll have to get that taken care of. I'll see about getting some picts soon...

fold flat

Well the dealer ended up taking the fold flat from an 05 model which I think has much better construction. It is all metal and much heavier duty than the fold flat in the 06 models. Glad all that worked out. Also got them to remove the dealer stickers and fill er up with fuel. Got the Sirius activated and am trying to figure out all the other buttons.. Lots of fun...

Oh and the Line-X looks awesome...
