Just thought I'd throw this in since people are waiting. Have your salesman double check your order. I ordered 2/4, went to pick it up and it had the wrong color interior. Guy that orders them screwed up.

Called the dealer and it looks like the order is still BG (not picked up yet) but they mentioned that the order may go through a sister dealership that is a bit larger. Something about the larger dealership can get stuff faster. Dunno, dude never called me back, I guess I'll have to probe some more on monday.

status update...

Just called the dealer and the status has been upgraded to D1. It is lined up and ready to be built. According to my salesman it is scheduled for delivery on 4/28 and I should see it a week or so later.

That is crazy..........The dealer was jacking you around and around. My dealer Tuttle Click Dodge in Irvine CA just ordered me two trucks (one was a company truck) and it took 32 days from order to delivery......I hope they get you taken care of. Keep us informed.

In my case the dealer did order my truck but dodge will only take so many orders for 3500 mega cab laramie 4x4s a month and with the 0% deal they got a bunch.and there was only one truck around area that was close, wrong color and missing a few options.and for this kind of money I am getting exactly what I want.

I got my truck from CARSDIRECT.COM, I had to speak to the person from the company, for a while, while she combed the countryside, for what I wanted, and she finally found it and for the price she quoted and I had to drive(actually took train) 6 hours, and picked up the truck.

just happened to run across this site and had to register, been a ford guy mostly, decided to order my first dodge on 2/22, dealer said 6 to 8 weeks, well as of today dealer said that unless they can get their rep to get the order pulled it wont be built! something about region allocation. ordered a 3500, cummins, 6-speed, inferno red, nothing too special. with the run around i'm getting it's kind of giving me a bad taste. hope it doesn't continue, had enough of that with all the trouble with my 6.0. if anyone has any insight, i'd appreciate it.
