I didn't get one. Don't htink I really need one.

3yr/36000 mile on the truck
7yr/70000 mile on drivetrain
5yr/100000 mile on the engine

Why spend the extra money. Spend it on toys for the new truck. ie:spray in bedliner, cap, running boards/mud flaps, aux fuel tank, etc. ;D

thanks,

by the way, what do you recommend for aux fuel tank. Do you have to cut a hole in the pickup to add this?

Depends on what they want to charge you. I got mine through the dealer for $840.00. 7 years or 70,000 miles on all items except brakes and exhaust, it also extends out the engine to the 7 year limit. It also has a $100.00 deductible which is waived if you're fortunate to have your dealer do the work.
Re:Opinions on need for extended warrenty

My dealer wanted around $1200.00 for it. I told him I would think about it and let them know within a couple of weeks. Then he proceeded to tell me how much more it was gonna cost me if I did not purchase it right then and there. It was like $300.00 more. I decided right there that I would not purchase it! > I had a pretty good experience up until that point." Oh, it's only $34.00 more a month Mike. That's well worth the piece of mind that you'll get." BS!!!
I agree with Butchera......
Re:Opinions on need for extended warrenty

I'm looking at this one http://www.transferflow.com/html/new...ry_system.html from transferflow.

Doesn't cost as much as some of the others and it is also automatic.

Should have it in sometime this fall.
