Check for codes.

Check the fuses.

Do the brake lights work normally?

VACUME PUMP??

Vacume pump??? I was under the understanding the cruise works off the ECM. No cruise servo or vacume pod on these.

Even the plan SL or ST model (I can't remember) that came without cruise you can add the switches to & have cruise. Wiring is already there.

Check you switch or take it to the dealer. New switches are around $40

Hope this helps,

Later, Jeromie

The hand-shaker model has no vacuum servo.

The automatic model has a vacuum servo.
