OBD II Monitors for 04 CTD
Been eyeing a couple of the available OBD monitors as I think that they could be fun and informative--IF they got lots of data from our trucks. However, if all I am going to get is what is already presented on my gages, I will pass! Do any of you run OBD II scanners and loggers and if so, what kinda of sensors can I expect to see coverage for in these scanners?
Thx

I have Auterra's Dyno-Scan which has a dyno feature. It works with my Palm Pilot and I love it! Since I don't know exactly what you want in a scan tool, I'm going to suggest that you take a look at their site to see the features it has.

Thanks for the tip! I guess what I was seeking and you partially answered is the number and type of available sensors that such a system can monitor on our trucks as most of these sites say that the parameters that can be monitored vary with the make and the model of the vehicle. Before purchasing one, I just want to get a feel for what I am going to be able to monitor.
