I've been unable to find any , since Dodge changed the tailight design between 06 and 07.

Can't stand the Dakota looking stock lenses, so need to find some tasteful
led version without all the bling and gangsta look...

I believe they are the same dimensions and what not, just the ugly circles stick out. I think you can use 03-06 lights if Im not mistaken

Try this: http://www.superlumination.com/

I actually bought 3 red LED's for the interior...plenty of light at night!

I'm with you Walker, time to ditch these taillights. I think it would be just a matter of splicing wires to make it work but am worried about the resistance and blowing the TIPM. On the Dodge builder site I read that if changing to LED taillights (for service body's, flatdecks, etc.) to add resistors in line with them so I assume that we would need to do the same but I don't know if we could have too much resistance? Some one out there has done this so please help us out!

Cracks me up. So, Dodge copies the Chevy tail lights, now Chevy went back to Dodge style lights on their new trucks. The beat goes on.

Still haven't found any yet...don't really want to jury rig anything.

will keep huntin'

It would be ideal if I could match the 3rd brake light too so they look factory, but with led's and I'd like to add an led strip to the recessed part in the tailgate.

Not asking for much right?

My experience with the led recon third brake light was a bad one. Fifty bucks down the drain. It's a "made in Taiwan" poorly molded piece junk that doesn't fit good like the OEM brake light housing.

I ended up putting the stock brake light back in there with a red led bulb in the middle and two led superwhites on the sides for cargo lights. Looks way better than the recon at half the price. At a glance it's stock but when I get on the brakes its especially at night. Another vote for superlumination they have quality led bulbs, resistors, etc..

Me thinks you got a bad one. My RECON stuff is top notch.....though I broke one of the smoked clearance lights, they took good care of me. I just added a set of the smoked cab lights to my son's Dakota as a surprise.

Now.....time will tell how the products weather, but fit/finish is good on my truck.

I, too, anxiously await an alternative to the 07 taillights that is plug-n-play.

Makes me wonder if the aftermarket people @ APC etc even knows there is a difference or just assumes they are the same. This is the kind of stuff they can pop out in no time it's not like bombs for 6.7s. And look you can already bomb a 6.7 but not get aftermarket lamps for the truck....

When i bought my LED taillights for my 03, and 04, I was wanting to get a set for my 07. The guys who i was buying them from said APC had just filed bancruptcy. That was over 2 months ago. So dont count on them making any for the 07.
