No chromed alloys available??

There seems to always be aftermarket chromed OEM alloy wheels available. I have them on my MDX and have had them on a number of vehicles. I searched ebay and not one set was listed. Is it too early? I know that the chrome shops that do this need a supply of wheels for exchange. I haven't actually checked my usual source yet, but I'm surprised they're not all over ebay by now. Am I misinformed or is there some reason these wheels cannot be chromed?

Also, who has the H2 wheels on their Dodge trucks? I don't like the fact that you have to machine them to get them to fit. Is that just for the center cap or do you have to do it to get it on the truck?

I thought about chroming mine, it was $125 per wheel at one place I checked in California. Don't have any idea if that's reasonable or not, more than I wanted to spend.

That's a really good price. If you want a laugh, ask a dealer for a quote on chromed wheels. I've seen them on their markup stickers for as high as $2000 for a set of 4 (and that's not custom wheels, just chromed OEM).

Hmmm, Valencia is only about 45 minutes from me. I guess I'll check their prices when I get my truck. I'll also follow up on those H2 wheels.

Let us know what you find out and how their shop and workmanship looks. After pretty much giving up on aftermarket wheels and 18" tires and Rickson's 19.5" the chroming idea is looking better every day.
