No blinker

I started truck yesterday and my inside blinker is going really fast. I have no power to front left blinker?? Not a urgent emergency but i have to leave tomorrow for a wedding and need to drive into city. Thanks for any help. By the way this truck does have aplow setup on it which i originally thuoght was problem but i seem to not be getting power to small white wire with green stripe at blinker. Does a flasher going bad do this and where is the flasher? Thanks again..

Us a test lite at bottom of steering column , if no lite go to turn sw , if lites , go towards the sig lite till you find a break in sig .
Giving info on truck will give better answers .

Check the blinker fluid first. j/k.

When the front blinks really fast it means your rear blinker bulb is probably blown.

Front doesn't blink at all. Rear blinks fast. All bulbs look good. Looked for wire under dash at lunch but couldn't find. I am not getting any power to blinker socket for sure. I do have parking light in socket though.

A fast blinker generally means there is a short some where. Check the pig tail for the trailer hook up.

Replace the front left bulb and see if it fixes the problem. Bulb could be bad without the filament being burnt in two.

If your using a DVM to check for power, you will have a hard time because the meter won't register fast enough. I would look for a short some where, because the blinker relay is a thermal relay and a load cause it to blink. If you weren't getting power to the front socket the blinker would blink slow because you would only have the load of the rear bulb to break the thermal contacts in the relay.

I was using a Snap-On light tester. Tested both sides, blinkers, park lights and headlights. Showing power everywhere but the fron t left side blinker. Also checked rear blinkers, park lights and brake lights. Getting power to all of them. I appreciate all the help and will have to look for it next week or bring to Dealer.

Try to follow that power wire at socket up stream till you find power .
Getting a wiring diagram is a big help , some times the color changes as it goes through a device .

Well i finally got the dealer. They told me my plow setup wiring triggered a code and shut down power to the blinker. I sliced in the blinker wire for the headlight module on a Meyer's. They said that it may do it again so i'm not sure what caused it and how i can prevent it?
