No adjustability on passenger tow mirror
I just noticed the other day when i needed to tow my trailer that when I flip up the passenger side mirror it won't adjust. What a PITA! Any ideas on what to look for that could be wrong? Loose wire etc.....???

you need to shoot a lil lube behind the glass and onto the ball and socket underneath. I had the same issue on a truck and wound up breaking the glass trying to move it. 20 dollars at a glass shop and good to go.

zfort001,
I can physically move the glass and adjust by hand no problem. It also works remotely when in the horizontal position. The problem is when I flip it up to tow in a vertical position it doesn't remotely adjust at all. The only way I can adjust it then is to roll the window down (if it isn't frozen) or play musical mirrors running back and forth around the truck till I get it right

If they are the manual tow mirrors you will have to play the run around game with them to get them to adjust, they have no provisions to adjust when you flip them up or down. I know pain right.
