New Rams - Old Oil & Old Diesel

New Rams - Old Oil & Old Diesel
My Ram sat on the dealer lot for almost 10 months! It still has the original 1/4 DIESEL fuel (as the odometer reads 12 miles) and still has the original OIL.
1 -Should I have the oil changed ASAP?
2 - The fuel, I figure I will just fill it up from the current 1/4 tank to a full tank and it should mix with the old.Any problems?
3 - When test driving, after warming up of course, I stepped on it WOT to see the power. Can this damage a new engine even if properly warmed up?

Just my opinion:
1. Don't worry a lot about the 10 month old oil but it would be good idea to change it out sooner rather than later. If you don't do it yourself then buy the proper oil & filter and give it to the guy who does change it. Otherwise, you'll likely get whatever they have "in the barrel". Also, tell them to pre-fill the filter.
2. The fuel is OK. Just top off the tank and you'll get plenty of dilution. If it were me, I'd add about 10 ounces of Marvel Mystery Oil to the tank.
3. I don't like WOT on a new engine even if everyone says its OK. I'd wait to get at least 1000 miles on it first.
