Hi, Thanks everyone for the great info on the forum. Just picked up my new 07 2500 Quad 5.9 auto last nite. Was looking for a 6spd. but none in my area. I joined the forum today. Any engine break-in tips? What is the hot set-up for mud flaps? Thanks

Thanks Hounddog and Rednecktastic after reading the forum I asked my son-in -law who is a business manager at Papa'a Dodge in New Britain CT. if he could find me a new leftover 07-59 and he did. Wanted a 6spd. but got an auto. There are a few left still up here in New England.

Nice looking truck, hope you like it as much as I like mine. Iv'e got duraflaps on mine and have been real happy with them. They are a little pricy, but a real nice flap. Here is a link to their website.

I bought a set of molded ones from my Dodge dealer
last winter, when I took them off in the spring I had
paint missing along the edge on the bottom. This
winter I didn't bother putting them on.

When I got mine I put about 3-400 miles driving around town and then hooked up to a 8000 pound trailor for a 1400 mile trip to colorado

Nice mud flaps ptm and I like the looks without them but living in New England and plowing throws too much on the truck. Megacab, thanks. I'm going to try to borrow my friends landscape trailer and put a car on it and go for a long ride. I am looking for a used camper but I don't have any weight now.

Shoe & Mega...welcome aboard boys!
Break-in? I don't think these workhorses are really "broke in" until you have about 30k on the clock.
Mudflaps? I went with Husky molded as well. Fit great, affordable and easy install. They do what they're supposed to!
Edit in: Don't forget to put your stuff on your signature line. You'll find it in the User CP.

Welcome Shoe and nice truck. I thought I saw a Fisher mount in your pic but wasn't completely sure. You getting any snow up there this year? Have only had two storms here, both with more ice than snow. My Western sees more garage time than work time.
