New member.just got an 06 3500 ctd drw mega with pics
Hello all. I just got my new tow monster. i was using my 06 range rover sport supercharged to tow my boat but had to leave that one in the garage because i have rude friends that dont now how to help keep the car clean when we go to the river and some butthead backed his trailer into the bumper and didnt even leave a note.the rover by no means did not tow my 28ft cat bad.it pulled it very very good.when most of the trucks were picking up there boats at the launch ramp and were getting stuck on the slippery hill i didnt even need to push the gas pedal.I yanked on a ford powerstroke with the same size boat up a good size hill.iam looking for mods as soon as i break it in.i hope you all like it.

the msrp was 54,400 and the invoice was 48,500 then got the 3,500 rebate.i maybe paid more but i had to get my bmw out of the picture.The bmw was a piece of junk and had to sell it quick because i was upside down in it.

What kind off mods are you planning? Have you had any exsperiance with diesels? Obviously you are into performance how much horsepower do you want to make with your new truck?

Very nice truck and car collection! A man after my own heart! Gotta love the Megacab Duallies!
I can't tell. Is it a 6-speed or Auto and is it a Laramie? 4x4?
I starte dthe mods with only 700 miles on the truck!

Nice truck indeed! The white does look sharp. That's a lot of truck for that boat. You haul anything else like a fiver or camper? I see you're living in "The OC," Newport Bluffs, maybe? (I recognize the Tuttle Click tag on the back of your truck). Do you have any place to park a truck that size, and without violating some city ordinance? 
Your hoa/rental management probably won't like you leaving that truck in the alley way like that. 
I work in Irvine and it's still sometimes a challenge finding a parking spot for my truck, and I don't even have dual rear wheels like you do. I think Irvine only sized their parking lots for Mercedes and BMW's since that's all people in that town seem to drive.

Hello and thank you for the comments on everything. i just talked to RBP today for some mods and they said i should get there 5'' turbo back exhaust with 6' tip,i cant remember what power programmer, drop in filter,he siad the intakes systems dont work and they dont make anymore power,and to also get there diesel fuel addative.What do you guys suggest.i want a really loud exhaust and good power but not crazy power were iam going to have the truck break.iam looking at getting the same wheel setup D.Wiggs has on his mega dually. i believe they are 22.5'' wheels.This doesnt change towing at all right other than less power to push the bigger wheels.Here are some more pics of my past toys.The supra had a very conservative 793 hp on only 30 psi.i could of gone to 35psi, 10.1 1/4 mile on e.t. streets and skinnies in the second pic.It has a stock motor,cams,upgraded turbo,fuel system,stand alone,etc..the 02 porsche 911 turbo is mine and my moms,ya i know guys my mom is a car crazy nut like me,it has 419hp.The black nissan silvia had 450 hp,the ford big lift,stereo,etc,and about 20 other cars i dont have pics of 3 mazda rx7's,dodge ram 15' lift v10,couple more nissan silvias etc,etc,etc,etc,etc. By the way iam not trying to show off or anything i just love cars and like reading the feedback and this is a little embarrassing, i just learned how to post pics so iam so happy i can show others my stuff.now if i can learn how to post videos.It is so hard i dont even know where to start.plus i have a mac so its even harder.
