NEW BF Goodrich All Terrain 305/70/17 E Rated

I went to Discount tire yesterday to see about them and they said that are available from Michelin at this time. I am definitely considering getting them because they are 10 ply and E Rated. I have the Nitto 295's right now they are fine but I like a E rated tire on a 3/4 ton. I do know that they are priced at $268 a piece. That is kinda steep but they are gonna give me $140 dollar credit for my tires with 5k on them right now. So just thought I would post this if anyone is interested. Have a blessed day to all. Aaron

Okay, sounds good. And it is a 305? It seems like an odd size to me.

I guess it seemed weird because there aren't many 305's out there. Most have 285 then jump to 315. But you're right, 305/70-17 is a great size.

Any idea how much these are? Just got a call from the powdercoater saying my H2 rims are ready, so I need tires pronto.

305/70R16 is more like a 33x12
305/70R17 is pretty much a 34x12

305/65-17? Well those are the same height as 285/70-17, but 3/4" wider. I checked them out and they have a load index of 121 which would put them at around 3195 lbs load capacity.

If it were me I'd stick with the 285's for under $200!
