Smile New 06 3500 CTD SRW 4X4 coming...need advice!

Greetings all. Truck in signature is on the way. This is my 2nd Dodge but first CTD. Where is the best place (and best price) to order a set of Westin Platinum Series step bar? Will also be installing gauges and tranny mods (deep pan, valve body). All advice welcome. Will be doing some 5er towing. Thanks in adance.

if you are towing stock, dont need a valve body....

For the step bars, just look around..most places will beat others in price so keep playin the haggling game.

I will be towing stock at first but I'm certain that I'll be unable to resist the temptation to reprogram (Quadzilla), upgrade the intake side and the exhaust with a cat back system. I want to beef up the tranny first in preparation for these upgrades.

It is already a 4" exhaust, so you don't really need to spend the extra on that. Just throw a good hi flow muffler in there and be done with it. The truck is going to pull like a train, wait to drive it a few times, then figure out if you need more power. They are animals the way they come stock. Power seems to be endless. Scotty
