I think H2's are better than either one. Slightly wider, a little more offset allows 315's to fit with no rubbing, look good with Dodge caps. But any of them are just fine. It depends on what you plan to do and the budget.

IMHO, the aluminum wheels are nicer than the steel ones. the H2 wheels are pretty nice too on the ram, but they need to be machined to fit over our hubs... and on my truck, the 315's fit with no rubbing on the stock alloy wheels.

I got chromed exchanges for the dull 04.5 aluminum wheels. They look great and should have a more durable finish than the polished ones. I've had polished wheels before and they lost their luster over time.

with the money you will save on a set of H2 takeoffs you can get a good home powdercoating kit and do them rims up any color you want, they are making better powdercoat chrome these days or go with the mean gloss black look, if ya got a black truck it would look sharp all logos removed and triple black, black paint rims and sidewalls

There have been recent threads on this exact subject, I suggest a search.

But my opion is the aluminum because they don't rust.
