I'm running one with 5" openings and reduced to 4" at both ends. I think it's 9" diameter, but they make 10" too. I used the band clamp style connectors. Then it runs out the side of the truck in front of the rear wheel.
I can't get to the part number right now. I went to a truck shop and they had them on the shelf.
It has a different tone than an MBRP. It's more of a raspy sound, a bit quieter and I can hear the turbo spin down after shutting it off. No drone, but more noise than stock.
I moved it about 34' forward from the stock position so it has to be the smaller diameter to clear the crossmember. I don't have a cat.
This setup is very low restriction and leaves room for an air tank, or whatever, in front of the axle. Also, there is no tail pipe snaking around back by the spare tire. There is a small rise in the frame, about 1 foot ahead of the rear wheel, that makes a nice spot to sneak under with the pipe.
Sorry, no pix right now.

thanks raspy. dont want it quieter than the msrp muffler, just wanted a different tone- i figured since it was a smaller muffler (26") that it may be a tad bit louder than the mbrp. may try the resonator instead.
