Need Opinions...
I don't have a good pic of the truck without the shell but here is an Idea..
Shell or not... I just got a gooseneck trailer and now have to decide if the shell is staying or not.. We will have the attachment in my buddies truck too. Another thing is we noticed my camper shell is cracking at the seams??? I have only taken in off a total of 3 time since it was new... So we'll see.
I can't decide if I like it without or with.. Actually I love it both ways but the shell kinda makes it look like an SUV. But I got the shell for the little lap dogs!
I don't really want them riding in the back seat..
OOOh decisions.. Help fellas..

Well I kinda like the shell on the Mega Cab. Still think the bed is just tooo small for the Mega Cab, the shell kind of evens it out some to me. I have had shells and tonneaus and once you have them it is hard to do without. Just my opinion, you asked.

Looks like TWICE the truck without! I made a killer bed for the backseat of my jalopy for the Lab, a few bucks worth of plywood, foam, and some vinyl from Wal-Mart.

I bought mine soley for the function of it (2 kids = more stuff). Otherwise I'd have stacks on my truck. It's nice to keep the stuff out of the cab, but still keep it covered. If your topper has lost it's function and you can live without it, LOSE IT! That's hilarious that your newfie barks when he farts !

It looks good both ways. I've been looking at yours a lot because of having the same color. With a dog that's reason enough to keep it, but with that being said I really like how it looks without the shell. I think your rims stand out more with the shell off.

Advocate of getting the ban button used on him...
I like them better OFF. My budy had one and just sold it for the same reason of the fifth wheel hitch he bought. I told him it looks much better now and he said after a few days he agrees.

Hi Shane, your truck looks much better without the Canopy.
My vote for NO cap.
For bad weather and if you are not using the trailer keep a soft-top for the Pups or how about a custom-made, truck bed high, dogie house. Something like a cross between a tool box and a kennel box.
