If there was something you could put inline and not rewire the head unit, voiding the warranty, would be a lot better.

Hmmm...sound like a good way to go, $450US plus shipping time='s time without the unit in the truck....I was looking at 10" lcd 12v. monitors the other day at a truck stop...$299CAD with the brackets...I like that much better as I'm more of a DIY type
