I thought the 4.5 stock on the filter pumps were available thru online sources? Maybe even Genos Garage? I would rather see you replace the pump on the filter as it will be easier down the road to add an aftermarket pump/ 2mic filter setup. If they add the in tank pump you will then need to add a draw straw...

... I added the pump with filter as I was more concerned about keeping my injectors clean.. 127k and going strong...

Thanks for the tip, I had no idea geno's has the old pumps. Just what I was looking for!

Even NAPA has the canister style fuel pump.

You can't escalate something that isn't there...and with the current $$ situation I can understand why suppliers are leary about not handing any parts over to Chrysler. I think I would want cash in hand at this point.....and their are dealers with lift pumps, but with the demand they are not selling them. I know we haven't let any of ours go as I use them quite a bit.
