my first board visit and my first Dodge Ram
Just ordered a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 Quad-Cab pickup with a cummins HO turbo diesel in the auto config. This is my first diesel and I am a mopar beliver due to the fact I have only owned dodge trucks in the dakota config. Guess I'm moving up into a whole new type of truck ,you could say my truck grew up. Hope I wont be disappointed in March when I take delivery.

Welcome aboard. This was my first diesel also and I can truthfully tell you that after one year of ownership I could not be happier. The hardest adjustment for me was getting use to the limited rpm range. Your auto should help with that situation.
You will also find lots of helpful people and information on this board. Just remember, there are facts and there are opinions. Sometimes its hard to tell the difference.

Welcome to the DTR family. ;D
The biggest trouble you should have is trying not to grin like a kid at Christmas every time you fire up the mighty Cummins.
Check the Tech Facts section at the top of the page for helpful hints on diesel ownership.
If questions arise, ask 'em. We're here to help.

Welcome bellyscrapper.
I hope you don't have to wait as long as you stated for your truck.
I don't think I could wait that long, but there is a bright side, you can start buying all your accessories and have them ready ;D ;D
Start now and buy yourself some addons for the holidays ;D
Again WELCOME and enjoy the ride, when you get it

Welcome, bellyscraper! You will find a wealth of information here. You will really enjoy your new Dodge Cummins. The people here are really helpful. As a teacher I can tell you there are stupid questions (sorry, Ed!) but usually they don't relate to diesel pickups!
