I like the lighter color too. I wish the seats were better. I had to do the seat mod 2 times to get it right and now I think the foam has shifted do over. Wasnt till here recently i liked my truck; after 2 years and 45k on the ticker.

I had an 07'. The interior was hard on the eyes for me....The black in the 05' seems like its made by a different company. Has that deep rich almost VW of Euro texture to it. Kinda suprised by the differences in material quality when I got rid of the 07' truck and bought this one....The 07' was a Hemi 1/2 ton or I would have kept it. Truck needs to earn its keep at my house. All play and no work makes for a long tough month of car paymenst!!
And the 09 1/2 tons will look like this??? Yikes! It looks like a Honda Civic SI inside. Suppose the 2010 2500/3500 will look like this as well???

That 2005 dash looks NOICE! It is choice, without the obvious molding o' the plastic. Looks more like my BMW interior, which is by no means optimal (kinda sterile) but at least it's trying.

My '06 2500 is not prefect but I sure do enjoy it.
I have a different opinion than most about bedliners, I despise them. I haul a lot of lumber and plywood in and out of my 8' bed and the painted metal has just the right coefficient of friction. Spray-in liners are too sticky and the plastic ones are too slick. I also believe that the slip-in liners cause more damage to a pickup bed than they prevent because of friction and trapped dirt & moisture. I will admit that once you take them out and cut them apart the corrougated pieces work really nice in the barn to keep stuff up off of the ground.
YMMV
Enjoy!
