Mutiple answers wanted for issue for condensed purposes front end
Ok as stated the issue I'm trying to solve maybe caused by any number of issues?? Yes I did a search but thought this would be a more condensed thread cover all depending on the post. And didn't find what I was needing. We got's lots of good knowledge on this site.
So issue clunking feeling in peddles and steering wheel but no real noticeable noise present, well if gasser there might be. It is temperature sensitive. Below 65 not present at all. Once above 65 you start to feel it. after 75 its pretty much at its max feel wise. So I've read possible " steering shaft issue, ball joints, track bar ext." I've checked front end by shacking it and listening but well that didn't help. All felt good and no noises.
So lay it out what you know was your issue and how you figured it out. If you have parts#'s, diagrams of part needed, a thread you know about with good info. If all you have is an opinion and no past knowledge of this issue or close to it then read and move on. I'm trying to figure this out so I can fix my self. As most of you know times are still tuff and every penny counts.
PS no odd tire wear at all. Wearing good. This has been going on all year with no change just tiered of it now. The thing always wondered a little but nothing I wouldn't expect from solid front axle.
Thanks for reading.

I would suggest you have your front wheels spin balanced and look for tread separation.
The Kore drop blocks can work loose if the bolts were not properly secured with LocTite, and that will allow the sway bar to oscillate.
The shaft that hangs down out of the steering gearbox tends to wallow out the bearing on the lower end of that shaft. I always add the Solid Steel Industrial Manufacturing steering stabilizer kit to all Dodge diesels to prevent premature destruction of the steering gear box.

I used to have a weird clunk that I couldn't figure out. It would kind of be in the steering wheel, kind of in the floor. It was hard to make happen, but it did happen sometimes. It wasn't consistent with turning, speed or temperature.
Since I put my steering stabilizer on I haven't felt the clunk, and that has been nearly a year now.

I have no experience of this on 3rd gen trucks, but it was 'fairly' common on the 2nd gens,(and many, many GM trucks) so it might be worth having a look. You mentioned steering shaft, but not whether you had a look at it or not. Just pull off the intermediate shaft between the column and the steering box. There will be a slip joint where the shaft can collapse in case of an accident.
If you can feel this "clunk" in the pedals and the steering wheel, the problem is that this slip joint is either seized up ,or is just dry and binding a bit. After you remove the shaft, you can replace it, or just try freeing it up and making sure it is well lubed with heavy grease, where the two shafts slip together. Now put it back in the truck and give it a try.

Thanks guys, Yes Temp above 60 degrees or more I feel it in steering wheel and peddles. The thing is you don't hear anything but motor could mask it. Tires are wearing good no wierdness there. I've tried wiggling streering shaft from pump up and seem tight. It's getting to the point I want to trade it in on a new under warranty truck.
Checked core spacers tight as tight gets. Track bar seems tight. Pitman arm has a tad play but wouldn't think it would be temp sensitive to cause the feel I feel. Shocks very tight. Seem lately to be more twards driver side if I were to guess. Again thanks and Happy Holidays

I took me forever to find a bad ball joint. I had noise but no odd tire wear. I don't know how many times I raised the front end up and looked for it. I finally had to put a pry bar in just the right place to find it. The day I did the fix, I tried the same pry bar in the same place to show my brother and I couldn't reproduce what I found. It was only when we got the ball joint out that he could see the slack. The springs are pretty tough on these things and that can make it difficult to find loose parts.
