City/Mixed usually I"ll see around 15.5 to 17.5 mpg, more city lower mileage, more hwy higher mileage this is usually the average for my enviroment considering how the county has grown with more traffic and more added stop lights.
Highway Interstate style driving I'll see 19 to 20 mpg.
Always hand calculated figures with 48K miles on the clock.

03 mileage
I have 110K miles on truck and average between 22-23mpg city/fwy. I was getting around 25 with EDGE EZ but took off as my mechanic told me that it would damage injectors. My carpool partner has an 04 Dura max and couldn't believe the mileage I was getting. I didn't tell him I had the EZ installed.
Mileage reaings are from overhead display not hand calculated.

In town I get 14.6 according to the thing on the ceiling. On the highway I get 18. But I drive 70 to 75 on the highway. I'm just not patient enough to do 65.

my '03 truck in sig is the 305/555 HO and will average 22.5 on my 110 mile a day commute. All highway miles. Towing the 11200 GVWR 5er averages 12.5. All pencil figures and is not just a best tank number but are averages over many tanks. Don't have a city for mpg figures. The '03/'04 305/555 HO engine gets great mpgs as most 1st gen engine do with good power.
In '03 we had three different engine hp/torque available. the 305/555 HO the 250/460 and the California 235/460 engines.

And how fast were you running when you got that 7 mpg? I pulled a 24 foot enclosed trailer with about 10,000 pounds load inside and got 15. But then, I was running 60 to 65. That was over a 980 mile pull from Amarillo to Nashville.

I had a 95 with 282,000 miles and it got 20mpg always. I now have the 06 and it gets 20-21 after I got the pcm update for cold weather starting/performance. Thats both hand calc and overhead readout.
