Megacab Rear Vents
Hey guys,
I was curious if anyone has had rear vent problems?? All my vents work fine, A/C and Heat except for the rear air. There is no air coming from the rear vents at all...anyone else have this problem??

I have the opposite problem...too much air goes back there and there's no damper's...
When people sit in the back with the air on, they freeze!
Your say yours blows no air on any of the settings, because I'm not sure if they all are supposed to?

Yeah, on any setting, heat or cool, there's no air...it's not the blend door, or at least I dont' think so, cause all settings (defrost, head, feet, mix, etc.) work except there is no air to the rear vents.
Also, the fan doesn't blow all that hard...I had two other 06's 1 was a mega and the air condionting system in both trucks was a lot better than this one.

That's strange...
There has got to be something to filter the air, I would assume.
If not, the blower wheel would be caked with debris, and not flow air very well either.
Sounds like you got a restriction somewhere...I just don't know where.

There is no cabin filter on the 2006 trucks.
Have you checked the ducting under your center console? On my '06 I took apart my centrer console to run some wiring, and you can see the ducting - it runs straight back under the center console. It might be dislodged or damaged/crushed. It's easy to take apart the center console to check it out.
Just something else to consider. Good luck.
