mega cab under the seat sub's

ok guys ive been looking and looking all over trying to find a under the seat sub box for my 06' mega cab, ive seen quad cabs all over but none for mega, anyone know of a reputable dealer for this sort of thing?, i tryed the usual JL audio, MTX, Rockford fosgate, and many more but couldent find something for "under" the seat.

idealy id like to get 2 12in subs under there and replace all the orig speakers throught the truck, along with a new head unit to boot but im having issues getting it to come together, if anyone has a simmler setup please let me know and if you got any thoughts on anything else to add on to it to make it sound even more amazing id love to hear it, thanks!

If anyone can make a solid one it would be Probox. I would call them since they dont show all they have on the website. They IMO are the elite of box building. I have a competition SUPERBASS 4.5 cu ft ported box for my L5 15" and it has set my spl record to date. I also had the underseat enclosure for the quad cab and it was the most solid piece in the truck.

Well as said under the seat renders your full folding ability to none. As far as anything better, well I've had may a system in my vehicles over the years. from an S10 with 2-12 2-10 2- 6.5s and 5.25's separates and 4 amps and 2 caps to keep it going and it was LOUD and woulds stop your your heart. Depending on what you want to achieve there are lots to think of. I'm running a Pioneer head factory with replacement sized door speaker Infinity Kappas unamped their 2ohm rated head unit can handle it and there loud with out distortion and a Alpine 500 mono block pushing a 2ohm dual coil 10" Infinty Kappa and it with give you a full body massage.
Now you could look at running 2 Jl W3's parralled on a 500 mono block pulling 2 ohms that will hit as hard or harder then 2-12's and go just as low and with the right built box they can go under or behind the seat. If there behind you will still have most of the reclining ability and full folding as well.
Sorry long reply just throwing out option that will give you some awesome audio.

i have an Inifinity BassLink behind the driver side rear seat, and that is awesome. not quite a pounding deep bass, but very good.

you can recline it about 2 notches, got it for $100 off craigslist.

if I had my way, I would put in 2 more (3 10's will drop bottom) across the back, and put the 2 behind the passenger (longer seat back) on quick disconnects

as is, i have a jump pack & a small tool box on the passenger side, so it don't recline much, either.

and you can still fold the seats flat to carry both dogs.

just throwing an option out there.

I built my own sub box and placed it under the 60% side of the rear seat. Made a template out of cardboard first. I have them facing forward and could only get 2 10's in there. Yes, it does keep the seat from totally folding flat/forward, but I would rather have the room behind the seat. Sorry, no pics.

this one will prevent it from folding flat wont it?... im trying to keep it out of sight and out of mind sorta thing, but i dont want to loose the functionality of the folding seats, i have a red nose pitbull and thats her area... lord knows if i make those subs somewhat accessable in a long trip she might get board and make a chew toy outta them.... so yeah i think im about at that point where ill have to build one from scrach *sigh*, id love to see what you guys got in yours... might give me some ideas on how to construct mine.

oh and thanks for the timely response guys, your always right there with an answer or at least a ball park answer i need lol

OK, I might have to go for that one too.

If you have any Fiberglas or carbon fiber experience you can make a box that is form fit and has thinner walls. I have seen a coupled of them that were awesome looking and maximized the available area.

I went with the other one they have, and love it. Seats still recline too(its only one notch less from all the way back now)

Can still fold everything flat, and the box really isnt too heavy to slide forward if you need to get to the storage bins behind the seat.
