Mega Cab Tail Pipe
I have a 2006 Dodge Mega Cab Dually and I need to replace the tail pipe. It has a resonator and I can't find anyone who carries it. I probably have to order through a dealer but thought I would ask here first. The drone I am getting now is awful.

I don't think I would go back to stock if it was that hard to find, unless a local shop has one laying around. I have a Magnaflow and there is no drone in the cab unless one of the back windows is open and the others are not. I have heard Donaldson is even quieter.

I have a Donaldson 51" or 54" that I put on first week I had the truck. 330,000 miles later, still quiet and working well... I would Highly recommend. Your muffler install guy may have to be a little resourceful, but it will fit

Had mine rot apart right at the top, Just as it came out of the resonator. It shot hot exhaust up at the bottom of my box, and it melted/burnt a hole in the spray in bed liner on my way back from a camping trip... Just too bad it didn't catch the stack of fire wood and propane tank on fire I had sitting in there.....
I cut it off at the muffler, and just put a small portion of the bent pipe that was still in ok shape on the end of the muffler and pointed it directly down.
This is not working out, I get occasional exhaust smell in the cab if the wind is right while parked or at a stop light.
I put the magnaflo on my last truck, loved it, not noisy, but It was a second gen, and the engine noise was much more than this 3rd gen. But I would go with that again, the price was right at my local shop, and I wouldn't worry about the resonator..
Good luck
