Mega Cab Polyurethane Body Mounts

Does anyone know of a company that makes these things? I have looked all over the web and cannot find any. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to find aftermarket body mounts. The stock body mounts seem very mushy and I'm wondering if there are any companies out there that my offer polyurethane replacements for them.

It's not so much ride that I'm trying to fix. My full replacement bumber tends to move side to side when going down the road. The bumper is welded to the frame so the bumper is not moving, but when you rock the truck side to side the amount of compression on the front body mounts gives the illusion that the bumper is loose. IT DRIVES ME NUTS!!! I figure that if I could find some stiffer body mounts, there would not be as much flex, therefore the bumper would "appear" to move with the body as opposed to the opposite way every time i hit a large bump or travel down a rough road.

Do you by chance have a vibration through the truck also?

I have checked with energy suspension and no luck.

Hounddog, it's not necessarily a vibration, it almost seems like I have
HD 1500 Mega Cab body mounts (if there actually is a difference in tonage body mounts) and they can't take the wieght of the added bumber.

I appreciate all your comments. Sure wish I could find someone that makes these dad gum things.

If you got really hard core you could take a mount to a machinist and have him mill some new ones out of aluminum...that'll stop things from moving around.

You're not kidding! Does anyone know if the body mounts differ between 1500, 2500 & 3500? I may just have to go to the parts house and get a set of one tons.

I'm confused because I thought you originally said the bumper was welded to the frame? Why would the body mounts have to take the extra weight of the bumper then?

If you're just seeing body twist then that's normal. Is the body moving and the bumper stays still? Body mounts usually don't get soft at all, but the body will still move and flex around them.

I believe it's just body twist. I'll just live with it.

I was curious if he wasn't feeling/seeing the vibration issue thats been known in these trucks.Nissan trucks had a vibration issue at highway speeds that drove folks crazy. One day on the interstate I saw one go by me with a bumber that had been hit, pushed down and loose. It was oscellating just like the vibration issue we had been feeling for several years and had no fix for.
