Hey Britt,
Just imagine how much better it would look in "Intense Blue"!

Just kidding,,,,,,,,,,,, it just seems that ever since they started with the 2nd gen body,,,,,,,, every magazine ad and commercial ALWAYS shows the "Ram in RED".

I'm glad I bought a 2005. The front of the MegaCab looks terrible to me.

I can't stand the looks of the headlights

Ok that front end is ugly but I think I could get over it for the interior. Who knows mayby it will grow on me, mayby not. Its not as bad as the Dakota but it reminds me of it to much. Now if you want to see a real ugly truck look at the new International. That is ugly. Looks like they found a use for that V6 powerstroke they where going to sell to Ford.

What the heck IS THAT? I don't think it's that ugly, from a utilitarian truck point of view, but it sure could have been made a lot nicer looking ...

For those asking about the dually, this was taken from PickupTruck.com:

"It comes in just the 160.5-inch wheelbase with the 6-foot-3-inch cargo box. The notable absence in the Mega Cab lineup is the 3500 dually. The 3500 dually is built only with an 8-foot cargo box and Dodge declined to adapt the dual rear wheels to a short box."

I also found this interesting:

"The Mega Cab is based on a 2500 chassis, so the 1500 will have some of the top numbers of any light-duty pickup, including an 8510-pound GVWR and payload range of 1860 to 2410 pounds. The 1500 Mega Cab 4x2 will weigh over 1000 pounds more than a standard Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x2.

Dodge says the crew cab market is the fastest growing segment in pickup trucks, and the mass of that customer base is in light duty. So the company is putting a 1500 badge on the heavy-duty chassis with no special distinction other than touting the big numbers."

It's a VERY POOR spin-of and and poor copy of the old WWI *****'s Jeep.

Oh, and check this out. The ONLY thing that Dodge has more of with this Mega Cab is leg room.

Interior Room Comparison: Dodge Mega Cab Ford Super Duty
Front Head Room (in.) 40.8 41.3
Front Leg Room (in.) 41.0 41.0
Front Shoulder Room (in.) 67.0 68.0
Front Hip Room (in.) 64.9 67.4
Rear Head Room (in.) 40.5 40.8
Rear Leg Room (in.) 44.2 41.7
Rear Shoulder Room (in.) 66.5 68.0
Rear Hip Room (in.) 64.4 67.3

So someone tell me what exactly all the fuss is about having the biggest cab on the market with the Mega Cab? Ford manages to outdo it in almost every category all while not looking completely ugly in the process.

I could go for that extra 1.3 inches of Front Head room that the Ford has. I am always hitting my head when I go to get in and out of my truck.
