The way the picture looks the bed only looks to be a few inches shorter but nothing major. I do think that the cam was pulled because I watched it this afternoon and switched to another view and came back to blank.

I don't much care for the new grill and headlights though. They're close-up pics of the exterior and the interior, even some with the rear seat reclined as well as folded flat and a storage compartment behind the seats. Much nicer interior seat covers too me thinks.

I like the headlights, but I agree on the grill. I liked it better with black space between the cross-hairs. The dash looks nice I thought. Gauge cluster appears pretty much the same, but the center stack looked pretty good. The biggest thing I notice is that with the seats in the fold-flat position, it doesn't look like it gives much vertical room to pack stuff. That was one of the things I liked when I was looking at the Nissan Titan 4 door--with the back seats folded up, you could fit a 60" big screen inside the cab. It's pretty cool that the back seats recline, though. Hopefully they'll make a dually version that's compatible with a gooseneck and 5th wheel.
One last thing, I preferred the old location of the Cummins logo, right behind the headlight. It made it easy to drive by dealerships and quickly decided whether or not to pull in and look around. And it was just cooler, like the first thing you notice is "No it doesn't have a Hemi, Bi-otch." I'm also not sure about that chrome insert in the front bumper.
Final opinion--where did I leave my check book?

Wow, it actually looks much better than what I thought....gotta love those rear seats. Haven't really decided if I like the front end look but maybe it will grow on me.

i guess i will be the first one to not like it. the interior is awesome but the exterior is BUTT ULGY! it is a full size dakota which to me is one of the uglier trucks made right now. the headlights and grill look terrible in my opinion and the side profile is just plain horrible. form should follow function but maybe not in this case. the extra space behind the rear doors just doesn't match the truck. looks added on (which i guess it was).
i am so glad that i bought mine when i did. dodge is ruining the looks of this truck just like chevy did with their newer body style.
UGLY
UGLY
this however is just my opinion.

something else i thought of.... i was often heard saying that the one thing that i didn't like about the dodge ram was the lack of 4 "real" doors.
forget i EVER said that. i like mine just the way they are after seeing the new truck. i was wrong!
by the way.... is the new ram going to be considered a 4th gen ram?

I'm with you, Britt. I think it looks ugly...
However, I'd kill for that interior!
It'd be perfect if they kept the same grille/headlights and got rid of that funky looking area beind the second doors. If they're going to have that area might as well make them suicide doors and call it a 6 door... then they can one-up Ford/Chevy

I like it, and since I probably won't be buying until late '06 or '07, I might be able to get a screaming deal since the "All new" '08s will be just around the corner...
But I'm with you on the headlights. Not terrible, but the current ones are MUCH better. Still looks better than the other 2 HD trucks (with the yet to be seen 3rd set to come out in '06 as well).
