Mega cab cup holder light??
There is a 3"X2" hole above the cup holder area on my MegaCab...should there be a light in there to illuminate the cup holder area when the headlight switch is on? My truck went in for the recirc door replacement & I could swear there was light coming from there before they worked on it, but I may be wrong. Now there is no light, or any signs that a light assembly was ever there! I took it back in and I was told by the advisor that there is NO light installed and the parts dept guy could find no lighting parts for that area. I looked in the service manual, and they have it in there as the "center bezel light". Mega drivers please check your trucks and advise. Thanks!!

Here's my hole!
I had no idea there was a hole there!
I have no lights either but it needs them bad.
Thanks for the idea... my next project is to add some LED spots in there to shine down on the dark recesses of my interior.

Check this out...
...I have this same hole on mine and was sure there was no light there. When I took it all apart to install an aftermarket stereo I found there was a light there! It has an odd flat lens that I didn't notice when feeling around in the hole. The weird part is, it doesn't light up on my truck even though it's there and wired!

Thanks guys....I must have been thinking about my 2000 that had lighting. I already bought a green LED module to put in there just in case it wasn't there.

Our Honda Pilot has a nice set of lights up high that shine down on the whole area between the seats and up to the dash. Not too bright, just enough to see what your looking for, but not enough to distract nighttime visability out the window...They are on whenever the headlites are on. That's the look I'm after.

My QC has it also. I believe it is listed as the Ash Tray Light as part of the optional Light Group.
Although with the six speed, most of the light is blocked by the shift boot. But it still sheds some light on the cupholder area.
