maximum tire size

Is there a maximum tire diameter the dealer can configure the speedo and odometer for?

I want to run a 33 inch tire can they adjust for that?

Thanks

It depends on the truck year. Prior to 2006 there was more flexibility, I think you could program in about any pinion factor. 2006 and newer the computer/dealer programer will max out with the largest OEM tire option. Something like a smarty can program more sizes.

Thanks for all the help. When I put the 19.5s on my 97 all I needed was $15.00 part.

Thanks again.

I'd post pictures but I don't know how.

Not to hijack the thread, but what is the largest tire you can put on a 2005 4x4 that is stock? I do pull a 27' camper so safety is also a factor
