Hey everybody! I just sold my 2000 F-250 PSD and am making the switch to the CTD!! I am currently looking at an 05 4X4 2500 QC. Auto, power everything, drop down DVD player, and it has a fiberglass bed cap. It has 33,000 miles on it and it looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. They (dealership) we`re asking 26,800 for it and I`ve got them down to 25k so far and will continue to beat on them a bit.. My question is, is this a fair price and is there anything in particular I should be looking for?? Thanks for any input!

 

sounds like a good price to me, mines an 07 and I payed 37500 for it so for two years decked out thats a significant savings. Go for it you will love it.

Just make sure it's clean. Mine's been trouble free (mostly) for 85K. I've got a clunking in the front end that I can't find right now, but that is just in the last 1,000 miles.

 

I would ask the dealer for a Carfax on the truck and also ask if they can produce service records on the truck. Other than that, it sounds like a good deal. Go for it!!
