Low Beams Too Bright

My truck has a 4" lift and my low beams seem to be annoying every oncoming driver who's in a car; not another truck. Also, when I pull up in back of cars at a light, most everytime they turn around with a disgusted look. Some shielding their eyes to make their point. I mean, I pretty much light up their car like I'm using a police spotlight.

I wouldn't mind much except every other oncoming car flashes their brights at me as if mine are on. Most of the time, I just flash back, but someday it's going to be a real annoyed cop.

Anyone else have this issue on their lifted trucks? Is there any aiming adjustment that's needed or even possible?

Thanks!

My buddy had the same problem with his ford ranger 2wd. every winter when he would put weight in the back for traction, every other person he passed would flash him the high beams. So he ended up adjusting his headlights twice a year to compensate for the weight. long answer short, try re-adjusting your headlights. Now he just does them himself against the garage door.

You can adjust them for the people flashing you but nothing you can do about the stoplight part.

I at times have turned off my headlights and left my parking and driving lights on until the light changes...have gotten a few thank you waves...

Your problem is aim, not brightness.
I usually drive with my foglights - but not my headlights - in the city near my house. There's plenty of streetlights so I'm not driving blind.
