Ive been looking for an 03 up for my little bro the past month, we actually called that place with the truck you posted up in that link about a 160k mile 03 that was dark gray. They were asking around 19k out of it plus ttl. They seem kinda high and the guy there told me that most of his trucks come from texas, he just goes down there and picks them up.

sounds like a lot of money, shoot for a few grand more get brand new, way too much to ask for that much use/ abuse on a truck. Sure the motor will go forever, but ball joints u joints brakes............. list goes on. new at least you are payin a monthly fee and if somethin goes wrong , they flip the bill, not like the loan company is gonna let ya slid e amonth 'cause you just flipped the bill for an injection pump.

my truck was about 35-36 brand new when they had that employee pricing going on. its not a laramie one ton, but its a cloth 2500 with everything but leather and a sunroof. my point is also. its too high. thats a clean truck, it is a 1-ton 6 spd and would be a good truck but when it hits 100k miles it will take a drop that other guy who said that is right. I would find one with lower miles for that much $

I cant afford a new truck and as soon as i get it im doing work to motor and drivetrain so my warranty will mean jack. I would like a nice black on black six speed short box extended cab that i can make my own. Is that too much to ask haha...

That price is way to high. I was looking at one exactly like that with 64,000 miles this spring before I bought the 06. I could have had it out the door for 23K. I'm kicking myself now for passing it up.

Hmmm, thats about what I paid for mine 2 mos ago same miles about but I have an auto and a long bed.

I would make shure the 60,000 mile service was done right and was done to dodge spects, all the right filters and oils ect ect.

It would be best to have a member go out there and see it first though and try to see if there are and codes are showing up.

Baring that most dealers on Ebay are fair, check there feedback as well.

If you are going to just use it as a toy better look into what it will cost ya in maintaining it and repairs also I don't know how your state is but in PA the registration and weight class sticker(3) cost me about $1200.00 a year.

Sorry-just read your reply today-got mine in Minnesota, and you can see by my sig that I am in NM, so I had quite a drive getting it back home. But it helped me figure out what the truck needed (did the usual ball joints, u-joints, shocks all around, brakes) so I spent about another grand on parts, but now the truck runs and drives like a top. Thing of it is that no one where I live could find me a truck like this for less than 30k, and as everyone is saying, that is darn near a new truck price, so I felt it was worth a few hundred dollars to fly/drive the truck I found home, and save a few thousand.

I think the lowest Ill see on that truck is 25000. So Im gonna keep looking and hope something comes along so I can sell my truck and start BOMBING my new one. I cant wait to blow smoke all over a local truck pull. Because 95 percent of the trucks that pull out here are ferds. The dodges that pull are 100 percent factory.

It all comes down to how bad you want one, everything is up in price these days, back in 77 my dad got a brany new Power Wagon club cab,(the mil spect ones dodge made for civys) paid $11,000 I think.

And no matter what you pay for it 2 weeks later you'll see the same thing with less miles for less money, never fails.

When I got mine I seen it and bought it all in about an hour, priced seemed ok,but I use mine for finding and hauling scrap metal so even if I paid a little to much it made it back in scrap, and yes I take it up mountain trails were some Jeeps won't go.

Bottom line lifes short enjoy it.

That is just like my truck only mine was a auto, had a small dent in the rear 1/4. I had 103k on it and got it for 24 out the door, so minus the 1500 for tax and tags I payed 22.5 for it. Mine is black over gray and no cap on it, plus its a HO with the 48re. So that should give u a idea what others pay lol.

I would pay no more then 23k out the door. Subtract the price of the manual over the auto, about 1k right?? The mileage is very close to mine, and the dash looks the same. So I assume it would have all the options I do, the adjustable petals are kinda cool. If they say a single thing about the bed cap tell them to keep it. Of course they wont, but it shuts them up about it.
