Looking at this truck...what do ya all think?

http://www.dieseltrux.com/diesel_tru...ot/truck08.htm

Problem is I live in NY and thats a hike to look at a truck. It looks really clean from the pictures. Anyone live in Indiana that wants to take a looksie for me? Is it worth the price with 80k on the clock?

I paid $24,000 for mine with 91,000 miles. From a dealer, off ebay. Very clean, and well taken care of. Laramie addition.

buying any used vehicle you want to shoot for kbb trade in value... if you think about it the dealer probably paid 1000-2000 less than trade in value for the vehicle. so if you can buy it for trade in value otd you are doing good. the key is to have the dealer make as little $$ as possible off you. and if they say they are losing money on the deal they are lying. those places don't stay in business off of loser deals!!!

Want to add that with todays rebates, dealer discounts, and the better interest rates why not look new. I bet the payment may be closer than you think, plus that truck is almost 5 years old and once you turn a 100k the value takes a hard hit.

I did a rough calc and 8.9% - 60 = 476.33. for used. 4.9% - 60 = 564.00 new.
I don't know what interest you can get but I would study real hard. Just my .02 worth. Good luck and happy hunting. BTW I used your numbers.

I bought my '03 loaded with only 31k miles for that price. I say with 80k you can get it cheaper. My truck NADA value was $33.3k

If you could get them to do 21 out the door, then it would be worth it, but I wouldn't give them much more than that, I bought my 04.5 last year for 22.5k, so there are deals to be found out there, just keep lookin.
