Looking for an ignition wire under the steering wheel.

Hi, I am looking for a wire in my 06 Megacab (Hemi), that would trigger a relay only when the key is turned on. I found a fuse (# 32 or 33) under the hood that would do the job, but is there a wire in the bundle that would do that too ?

i always used to just take a test light and see which one was hot when the key was on then splice a relay into it

Here ya go. I would prefer to use the wire that goes to the cigarette lighter, easily accessable and chances of messing something up in the ignition are nil.
Ignition pink/white + ignition harness

Do not use a test light on these newer vehicles, always use a meter.

Hm, thats odd. I tapped it on my truck to power on my aftermarket stereo. Whatever works. I installed a remote start system in my old '06 and had to deal with all of those wires, my headache is coming back just thinking about it.

What is the problem with the test light if you use it properly?
