looking at 3rd gen

I'm at a toyota dealership for a oil change for my avalon. Next door is a dodge dealer. I go over for a peak at the new mega cab. I was really eager to see this truck for the overall size etc. I was really disappointed. The best way I can describe the general appearance of the interior is that its like a entry level work truck. Thin cushioning on seats, fit and finish of dashboard and controls remind me of a entry level import truck. Mind you, I own an 01 CTD. My truck is so much more well appointed than these 3rd gen. I guess I answered my own question whether or not if I should "upgrade" to a 3rd gen.

Just my two cents.

What are you? A woman? I dont know the color, pattern, or anything else about my interior. All I know is that there is a **** CUMMINS DIESEL ENGINE under the hood. If I wanted a nice interior I would've bought a Mercedes....

I own both a 2nd gen and a 3rd gen.

No contest, I prefer the 3rd gen

I don't know why but Toyotas remind me of poodles.

What are you talking about? I bought my 2006 Dodge Ram Megacab CTD 7 weeks ago, and I love it. I am a guy, if I wanted frilly bells & whistles I would have bought a mercedes or a Jaguar! I really like the conservative, rugged interior/exterior of the Ram. Remember, this is a heavy-duty work truck!
