I always had shortbed trucks and my 04 is my first long bed. I do not regret it one bit. I don't fill the bed up everyday with stuff, but when I need to I have the extra room. It looks better IMO, and when I put my toolbox in I still had enough room for my 4-wheeler, lumber, snow equipment, whatever I needed to take with me. So what if I have to park away from other cars, I did it with my shortbed also.
