Line-X rocker panel AND front bumper

I'm curious, and would like to see pictures if anyone has not only line-x'ed their rocker panels but their front lower bumper, and the rear...it would seem to have a nice clean line all the way around.

any photo shop guys willing to help me with this shot.



In this second picture the grille will be matte black, like the work trucks.

thanks outback! I used to have a two door tahoe sport and that's how it came...two-tone so to say.

looked super mean and just like the dodge, it was a clean line all the way around.

right now it's also the cheaper option as I'm about to (option 2) buy a new lower front bumper (non-chrome) have it primed and painted red...then I want to get a work truck matte black rear bumper and take off my chrome rear bumper.

problem is I can only find the rear bumper at the dodge dealer...rip off price....I've searched everywhere online with little luck.

My brother did his rockers on his 03 when he bought it, and they even color matched it to his truck(maroon), and now almost five years old and not a problem. Still looks great, even with the lift and 35" BFG M/T's throwing rocks at it all the time.

I will be doing mine soon.

not a CTD, but my old rig was Rhino'd all the way around (to include the fender flares). I hope to do the rockers and front and rear bumpers on my Ram in a couple of years when i start to get tired of how she looks...

called around and the from the most experienced shop I got a quote of $669....guy sounded very thorough. Wants the truck for at least 2 days. 1 to let it dry completely and be thoroughly cleaned, then another full day of prep...and 20 min's of spray time! prep work....always fun.

That's sounds pretty darn good, I got a quote of $1100 for the rockers, another $200 for the area under the fender flares and $300 for the front bumper if I removed everything first (flares, steps, bumpers, mudflaps etc.)

Looking good and thanks for the photos!

Kelly15 and DONK...what color of line-x (or rhino, etc) did you use?

IMHO, I like the rocker panels line-x'ed but I feel that I don't like the contrast it causes with a chrome bumper...but this coming from a guy who's going for the blacked out look...sooooo...here's what I've come up with.

complete debadging. followed by one of two options.

I used the cheapo paint app. that comes on my computer.....

keep in mind...even I think the chrome one looks good now...that's cause the dodges are smooth looking trucks...but I also think it looks good because of how clean the photo is due to the lack of it being massacred by dell's paint application

Installed the black grille today...I'm liking it but it makes me realize that the chrome does look good. still in the air about the line-x.

My sprayed rockers

Here's what my truck looks like. I had the guy spray mine a little higher because the kids would scratch the paint riding their bikes between the truck and wifes car. I've debadged since these pics were taken.Attachment 19626

Someone a while back posted a dually that the top of the dually fenders were also done.Looked good.

One more pic

Attachment 19628I forgot to post one more pic. Since I had mine sprayed a little higher than normal, I also had the guy do the bottom part of my tailgate, even with the line of the sprayed rockers. It didn't look right to me without it being done also.
