can you get the long extention on the spare tire winch to let the tire down with it in place or do you have to put the spare in the bed? That would be the only problem I see with it.
Mine fits in there like a glove. It does cover a portion of the hole, but not enough to block the rod.

I still have to mount mine yet today, but I already did a test fit. There is plenty of room to mount just above the hole to insert the winch handle - thus hole doesn't get blocked and spare can stay under.

Can't say enough good things about Recon. I bought the Line-of-Fire, smoked third brake light and smoked clearance lights. They we great to deal with and the stuff is perfect. Still working on the clearance lights (my 2500 didn't have them to start so not really plug-n-play), but the others installed in minutes!!

Got 'em done and working. If your line up the Led's almost exactly half way between the bumper and the bottom of the tailgate, you only block the spare winch hole partially, but still enough room the get the shaft through.

Just received mine from UPS.

Quick question, probably a fools question...

Does the lightbar line up as coming out from your truck as an (L) or an upside down (L), I assume upside down so that the LED's are facing downward.

Well, that 3M tape isn't too friendly once it gets stuck, so asking is the wise move!

I got the wife to help me out putting mine on, tried to get it as centered and level as humanly possible.

I'm going to do it tonight when I get home...I'm taking off the tailgate to do it so I can get a level in there to mark the areas. So were the instructions correct as to which wire was which on your reverse light?

BE CAREFUL.....there is a possibility that where you place the bar....it will get hit by the bottom edge of the tailgate when you open the tailgate. I lucked out....mine is C-L-O-S-E. A fraction higher on the mount and the tailgate would have hit it.

Okay so which wire is the positive reverse light? I don't have my meter (it's at work), so someone save me.

I used Industrial Strength velcro to put on my bar. It has been on there for four months and does not show any signs of coming off. I did not get one with the reverse lights, so I can't help you there.
