Here ya are:

If you want one straight on, let me know. I'd have to go out and grab one.

www.excelagurd.com Retains factory tow hooks. I modified mine. I added a 2" receiver to plug my winch in front or back and trimmed the centre cut out to recess my fog lights a little farther back. I can't leave anything alone - I always have to improve engineering a bit.

$1900.00 CAD. Oh ya, I tripped and fell over a deal. The dealers that carry them up here want way more than that. Worth the savings monetary and hassle wise even on one insurance claim IMHO.

I nearly stroked a deer on the way back from from my relatives' acreage Friday. Even though I was able to get her whoahed in time with no contact, I was happy to have it on. The one on my '98 saved insurances claims four times - washed off blood, hair, or paint at the carwash only. Pic of the one on my '98 is in my gallery. I will never own a truck without one!

I've seen one on an '06 QC make hamburger out of a moose North of Fort St. John, BC. Guy was travelling about a 1/4 mile (in dense fog at ~0500) in front of my company truck in July this past year. When I stopped to help, he didn't need any with the truck - no damage other than blood and guts, just helped him role the moose off the highway. He was going to have to readjust it vertically as it did slide on the vertical alignment holes, but never touched paint or headlights. That's when I decided I had to find one for the new truck - picked it up before the truck was even delivered to me.

Now, I'm not going loking for any animal encounters, but with the number we have up here, it sure is reassuring it's there.

It doesn't hold a candle to Festus' setup, but for just something to mount lights to I have a Westin bull bar and KC slimlights. The Westin is SS and is holding up well after a rough winter. I don't have any pics. Sorry.

I like the road armor products. They have several different grilles to choose from too. I am going for the pre-runner type with winch set-up.

Here you go.
Well I guess you can't post a picture more than one time on this site so you will have to see my post in the 3rd generation Pics. thread. It is the NFAB pre runner bar, with 3 8" procomp lights in it. I had it Line Xed to have it last.

Are you looking for a light bar or one of the huge crush-anything-that-dares-step-in-front-of-me bumpers? They are very different.

Quick Reply: light bar
