Wow, that is good dweiler! I just did 300 m yesterday, 200 at 60-65 and 100 at 70-75, LOM varied from 20 to about 21.7, i havent filled up but experience tells me that will calculate to about 17, + or - .5mpg (US). Leaving the LOM unreset and allowing it to integrate over a couple thousand miles hasnt narrowed the difference. It is, at best, a qualative indicator only.

Mine was reasonably accurate when new. I hand calculated every tank and it would typically vary 1 mpg over or under. It started to change after the first couple years and the inaccuracy has crept up pretty consistently. Now it over estimates by 5-6 mpg. I love my overhead calculator and it is impressive to see 25 or more. Only if it were true.
