Lets see your Fuel Canisters
As the subject states. Lets see your fuel canister for your truck. We are in the process and about finished with the new return for the trucks. We need to make sure it will fit all years, makes, and models to cure the low fuel issues some have. Thanks very much.

Sorry, Anthony... this is the only pic that I have... and it's got some Vulcan parts on it...
I do, however, have a nice shot of the pump!
And me putting the sticker on...

Nice job!
Mine's in my signature..
Has AD gotten rid of the springs to control the pressure yet?
Will the new regulator be a retrofit for the older pumps and if so how do we get one?

OK, so I should not install my kit and return it for the new one? I really don't want to pay for something and spend a whole day installing it if there is a problem with it.

Oh boy we opened a can or worms here! There is absolutely no problem with your unit. There is a totally different designed unit that has an adjustable regulator is what we are speaking of. The only thing we are trying to do is get a couple other fittings together to eliminate the low fuel issues some have. Which is coming along good.

When you say low fuel issues, do you mean the FP drop after 1/4 tank?
I had that with my first draw straw install, I dropped the tank, and did not compensate for the bottom of the tank sagging. I could not hold FP when I got close to 1/4 of tank, never mind below it.
When I did my AD install, I removed the bed, and notched the draw straw in a V shape, so that the middle of the straw touched the bottom of the tank, but the sides were cut up... I can go below an 1/8th with no problems. The only time I see the FP dip because of low fuel is when I am slowing down from a 100 mph run on the track.

I ran both the return and feed lines into the canister and made a small notch in the corner of the feed line. Both of my draw straws are from Glaicer so they are a more rigid tube than just a piece of tubeing. I've run the tank all the way down to the needle in the red and the overhead display down to 5 miles to empty. I still get 18-20 psi and the only fluctuation happens when coming to a stop sign/red light or it will drop slightly at takeoff but quickly returns to full pressure. I dont start to notice the start stop fuel sloshing round pressure fluctuation till about 1/8 tank.
I did drop my tank to do the change out, i'm sure if I had 4-5 guys to help remove the bed that would have been faster and easier but it was just me.
