Yes, a Mega has the same chasis of a Quad long bed, only it comes with a short box with the extra 21" or 22" inches going into the cab.
Figure:
you can exchange a quad cab short box with a mega box.
And the Mega long bed convertion adds 21 or 22 inches to the Mega chasis and a Quad long bed box.

I have a Snugtop XV that looks good, but when it was sent back to the factory to have it repaired and repainted after some hurricane refugee broke into it in Dallas. It took months to get it back. I think that they messed up and resold or loaned it out because the topper was the same, but the wiring was crudely modified with taps. I also now have no customer service I am now on the wrong side of the Mississippi River. They refuse to sell me replacement parts. Also the window frames leak and my stuff still gets wet. Too many choices to do this to myself again.

Leer High Topper. Most guys think it looks like a Grandpa truck with this cap but there sure is a lot of room back there. No way I'm backing into a garage though.......

I have a Century Royale. $1400 installed, front slider, its paint matched, frameless rear window, work light inside, frameless side windows, locking. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow.

I ended up getting a Leer hard tonneau cover. I found it used on craigslist, just got it painted last week. Not as much space as a shell, but more secure because people can't see what's inside.
I really wanted a shell, but I was looking at $2000+ for what I wanted.

Raider Nomad II
Mine is a Raider Brand and the Model is called a Nomad II.
Lined, Lights front and rear, Gun Locker, Fold down front window, Frameless Glass, J clamps, and bug screens.
I owned a XL100 Leer but I live in a place that gets rain and the rear windows leaked like crazy.

I bought this one for my 04.5 before I sold it. It was an Astro, I believe they go by ATC now. Colorado Edition (didnt add anything special) fit and finish was half-butt, only thing that was good about it was the price, and the color matched pretty well.
This is a Leer 100XL with the Browning Edition upgrade. Came on the 98 when I bought it. Fit and finish is great! Would definetly recommend the leer shells.

Since everyone else is posting I might as well.
I have a Kodiak/Unicover aluminum now and have been really happy with it. Its half the price of fiberglass and half the weight so me and the wife can take it off easily. I also had a Unicover Safari II sport package ($2000) fiberglass cap on my 2001 and loved it, but not the weight.
