Leak on top of rear diff?

Leak on top of rear diff?
I just noticed a stain like something leaking on the top of the the rear diff.
It's a V shaped stain starting near the gasket and spreading out going forward towards the front of the truck. It looks like there are brake lines sitting up there and it's near the back of the fuel tank. Maybe the diff has a vent up there?
I'm wondering what this could be. I had some stains on the cover, but that was just me being sloppy filling it last time. I cleaned those up and they never came back. Now this one has me curious.
